Following the State Education Department’s modification to the Continuing Teacher and Leader Education (CTLE) requirements, CEI has been recognized as an approved CTLE provider. This accreditation enables educators to utilize CEI’s conferences, professional learning services, workshops, and roundtables toward fulfilling their mandated 100 hours of approved CTLE professional development.Learn More!
Professional Learning Communities, or “PLCs,” are educators who meet to collectively improve student learning and achievement. PLCs engage in a continuous cycle of collaborative inquiry questioning based on classroom practices in an effort to build a shared knowledge as professionals. These meetings occur at regularly scheduled times throughout the school year and members work together to improve curriculum, instruction and discuss the roles of teacher leaders in schools.Learn More
Project BOOST (Building Options and Opportunities for Students) is a school based enrichment program for low-income, at-risk 4th to 12th grade public school students. Currently, Project BOOST serves 168 public schools, including a specialized program for children with autism and a universal pre-K (UPK).
