Monday, May 14, 5:30 – 7:30 PM – Understanding Trauma

Early childhood experiences of trauma, including sexual abuse, physical abuse, and loss of a parent, significantly impact children’s development. This interactive workshop will help you to identify children who have experienced trauma and to help them to thrive academically, socially. and emotionally.

Monday, May 21, 5:30 – 7:30 PM – Self-Care; Why it is the Best Medicine

You’ll learn skills to combat secondary traumatic stress (STS) and burnout, and begin to develop a self-care plan to support your overall well-being. The workshop will include self-inventory, video, experiential and group discussion.
